Obviously I understand the meaning of the term, but its used so out of context and there seems to be so many variations of what said Game is. Can anyone sum it up for me, and why it is considered so wrong.

  1. I am with you on this one Phil, they drop that excuse basically when any other housemate is doing nice things for others in the house, someone is being loud in the house, someone gets drunk and makes a fool of themselves, someone is genuine and speaks to everyone. I find they use "any excuse" to pull the "playing the game" card.

  2. Personal opinion is that playing a game is where you are fake and don't act yourself, you try to make yourself look better (personality wise) so that you can win. I think it also means that you really want to win (though let's be honest most people wouldn't go on BB unless they wanted to win) and you wouldn't mind s******g someone over or voting tactically to win. That's what I would call it anyway. I think it's wrong because most of the time it's so blatently obvious and it would be so much better if you were just yourself. Other housemates think it's wrong because they probably think it will lessen their chances of winning.

I think Darnell is playing a game, trying to get the sympathy vote with his whining and his "I'm too black for the white people and too white for the black" or "I'm too blind for the sighted people and too sighted for the blind" ect.

  3. Basically it;s just when someone is being fake in order to get people to like them and win i.e Kat but people are just using it for everyone when they run out of insults tbh like Rex is playing a game which pisses me off because he's just being his normal ******** self and it kinda sounds like he's playing monopoly :|

  4. This is a good question and I've often wondered that myself. In the BB house if you're seen to be doing the washing up more than twice in 4 weeks you're considered "playing a game". I think they mean the HM come across as being really pleasant and helpful around the house. Not making any arguments and generally just sailing along. Either way that is a phrase that has stuck from BB1

  5. Generally in BB it's an excuse for appalling behaviour.....

Being nice? You're playing the game.

    Nasty? playing the game.

Loud & obnoxious?  That's OK you're just playing the game!
