What a bunch you lot are.  Kick a team when its down - that makes you really smart, clever and witty.  

Yes, a very poor performance.  Tanking?  Well if we are, we learnt from the Victorians - look how the tankers of the last few seasons are doing now.  The Hawks are doing well, and Carlton appear to be turning it around, and the Tigers are finally starting to put some games together.  Melbourne are still absolutely shocking, but no accusation about them?  I wonder why.  Because its not about tanking, its just about attacking West Coast - god, you guys sure must be jealous to have to keep sticking the knife in at every opportunity.

But lets ask about what really counts.  And that's the fans, because they ARE what makes a footy team.   Well, we still manage a full house every home game unlike most of your teams whose fans all stay at home when they are losing.

Call yourselves footy fans?   You are clearly the kind of people that poked fun at the fat kids at school.  But if that's what makes you happy, then good for you.

Give us a couple of years, and then we'll see whose laughing.

I think either East Fremantle or Subiaco should... East Freo is my fave team but subi is at top of the ladder so they should. Peel... Is a c**p team because they got beaten by East freo yesterday.

lol funny question. NO they should not be (even though I love Subi) because this will hopefully help them learn. They were competing against the best in Geelong and they can learn a lot from this experience. We have plenty of young players which I hope we will use more of (I like the look of McNamara who isn't getting many games) and I think they could embarrass WA more.

It just isn't the right time for WA teams, is it? But the Eagles have had a good run with premierships, especially in the last 10 or so years most recently winning the 2006, and every club has there cycles ups and downs etc. Don't give up on them, they'll be back and the youngsters will develop and become fantastic assets to the team.

Stick with them :)

Ditto to what saklaing said! Couldn't have said it better myself. (and Alana Lama). We'll be back in a couple of years and I then look forward to bagging out  other teams when they crash back down the bottom.

(Also, I think tanking implies that you could have won the game but did not. I don't think anyone tanks by 130 points)

Oh, and the continued references to the issues of the PAST (yes, the past people....) well, I am just sick of them! I look forward to whoever barracks for the team Cuz ends up at jumping ship with shame next year.

EDIT: The reason for the quiet - we know the rest of the country will be sooooo very predictable with their questions and comments we didn't  need to rush on to have a read this morning (and we possibly have better things to do than hang out here alll weekend.....)

AND I have yet to see any WCE fans deserting their club. We didn't desert during the whole drug fiasco, and they won't now (of course some will, and we don't want these people anyway! They can go away and open up the door for some of us "Waiting in the Wings " members to become fully fledged members.. FYI We have the biggest membership of all the afl teams....

How embarrassing having a team that has won 3 premierships in the last 17 yrs and 2 Brownlow medalists I am sure most teams would hate to have that result at their club.

What is embrassing though is all the fans that can't take the good with the bad and should learn from some of the diehard fans of older clubs that support their club through the bad times not just the the glory days.

Seriously, I support Collingwood, and I know that every team has it's bad patches. If every team got replaced after performing badly, there would be hardly any original teams left in the comp.
