  1. Military policy does not allow you to have tatoos that can show while in any uniform.  The only uniform that may be exempted from this is PT gear, but anything else, the tatoos must be covered.  Since class B's have short sleeves, you will not be able to wear them if there are any tatoos showing below mid bicep area.  If you have them and are already in, check with your command before wearing the short sleeves..you may need to get a waiver.  If you are not enlisted yet, but plan to you may have to have the tatoos removed to enlist.

  2. Yes you can.

The US Army has relaxed its policy on the wearing of tattoos.  Also realize that even before these recent changes, you could still have tattoos on the arms and be able to wear Class B's.

The old regs said that tattoos could not be visible while wearing the Class A's, not Class B's.

  3. the last time I checked tattoo's can not be visible in class A's or B's, but I know the rules have changed a little in the past 5 years

  4. you will get an article 16

  5. It would look completely unprofessional.  I don't know why you would.
