In the Beijing, China Olympics...

There was a technology device that shot into the sky to separate the clouds to prevent it from raining on the opening ceremonies.

Can anyone give me more information??

  3. They developed some kind of laser technology to deter the rain (not the same as seeding).  Now the U.S. is interested in it and really wants the technology badly from the Chinese.  I'm not sure if the Chinese will sell it though.

  5. its not really technological. its more of just using whatever to seperate the clouds. they tried to wash the clouds out with like water that was dropped from an aircraft and i also heard they used missile objects to puncture holes through the clouds to make them rain whatever they did it was meant to make the clouds rain in advance so it wouldnt rain during the olympics. if you watched the olympics it was unsuccessful but rain is rain cant stop it
