In the Cal State system is there something similar to the Board of Governors Fee Waiver?

When I attended a community college in California, the board of governors' fee waiver would eliminate my tuition cost and then whatever money I would get from FAFSA could be used to cover the cost of books, etc.. Now that I am planning to attend a Cal State University will I have to rely on FAFSA to pay for tuition as well as everything else?

  1. There is nothing similar to the BOG Waiver at Cal States. Once you transfer to a CSU the only types of assistance are various types of grants, loans, and work study.
