  1. "Parasire Tokens" are placed under a creature when the become "Infected". A lot of the Danina Creatures from Zenith of the Hive have the ability to Infect opposing creatures. For example, if you take a look at the Danian, Dubin, his ability states that you can spend 1 Mugic counter to infect an uninfected creature. So let's say your Dubin uses his ability to infect my  Ribbian, you will place a Parasie Token under my Ribbian card. This makes Ribbian become Infected. While infected, Ribbian is counted as a "Mandiblor" when you use an effect that deals with a Mandiblor count. For example, you use your Mugic card "Purge Dirge", targeting my Ribbian. The card text states "Deal 5 damage to target Creature for each Mandiblor you control, then Uninfect all Creatures." In this scenario you control:

    1 Dubin

    2 Wamma

    1Illexia, The Danian Queen

    2  Kelvedran

Since you control 4 Mandiblors yourself and Ribbian is infected, you count 5 Mandiblors towards the effect of Purge Dirge. If Ribbian is not killed from the Mugic, he becomes uninfected, so you discard the parasite token.

There you have it. So a parasite token is used to make a creature infected and counted as a Mandiblor. Remember:

    * A creature cannot be infected if it all ready has a parasite token

** You can infect your own creatures.
