  1. d**n rosbif got there first ! :)

  2. No, it was just a rubbish bit of driving. Raikkonen was slightly ahead of Kubica, so moving to Raikkonen's side of the track made some sense. There was also more of a gap down the left-hand side of Raikkonen's car than there was to the right of Kubica, which is what he might have been aiming for until he locked his brakes.

  3. No I don't think it was intentional. I think is was just a snap reaction when he saw that Kubica was stopped in front of him he just jerked the wheel to the left to try and avoid Kubica and hopefully give himself some more room to stop.

  4. If you believe that, then why didn't he hit BOTH of them??

  5. No, i reckon that Hamilton was not aware of the red light and also not aware that Raikkonen will stop, as you can see Hamilton on steering camera on the replay, he was looking left & right as he leaves the pit, unaware of the red light, and it's too late when he realized that kimi was on his front.

He try to steer to left in order to avoid the obstruction but instead he hit Raikkonens back.

It is very clear that Hamilton is still a rookie and commits so many mistakes.

  6. As I said on another answer, why on earth would Hamilton want to risk destroying his car (already definitely causing a forfeit from the race, and waving bye-bye to any points he could get) and rip a hole in McClaren's pocket from the damage?

It was just a silly mistake, but he will learn from this. Anyone can make mistakes and just because he did it in the public eye doesn't make him any more stupid than anyone else.

  7. Of course not. There was room on the left hand side of the track that he was desperately trying to get to in time to avoid a collision.

If he did it on purpose, surely he would have collided with BOTH Kubica and Raikkonen? (Which would definitely have been possible.)

  8. It was a bit odd, thats all Im saying.

  9. On Purpose, NO!

  10. Nah, it was just a (albeit very!) stupid mistake. Look at the footage and it was only sensible to steer to the left as to not steer into the pit lane wall.

I think it was what you may call a 'Caught Between A Rock And A Hard Place' situation!

  11. Anything can happen...it just goes to show Hamilton will always be at da back of Raikkonen, period!

  12. 1. Inside the fastest car on the grid,

    2. On a one-stop strategy,

    3. leading the world championship,

    4. On the track where he had won his maiden grand prix and was looking good to get second one

    5. Even if he had come behind Raikonnen, he would still have been leading the world championship.

he must be insane to have purposely smashed into the back of Raikkonen. I don't think he did that purposedly. But I also suppose, if he had choice of which one to pick among Kubica and Raikkonen, he would probably smashed Raikkonen, but not on that time, and probably not in the future unless he were Fernando Alonso, which he isn't!!

  13. no and neither did Nico

  14. he smashed purposely to the back of raikkonen, because he(Kimi)was booked to win the race!!!

  15. He didn't do it on purpose, he wouldn't have benefited. A 1 point defecit to Raikkonen would have been better than a 4 point defecit to Kubica.

It was just idiotic, or as Raikkonen puts it 'inexplicable' but not purposeful.

  16. I think it was a case of stomping the brakes and turning the wheel in pure avoidance mode.  I don't think he actually knew who was in front of him.  My guess he was fiddling with something on the wheel, looked up, and had an "OH SH*T" response.

One should expect a bit better driving from a professional.

    The idiot.
