Would you reccomend it? I know it just won the Tony but I need to know what is so special about it before I buy tickets. From what I've heard it is a bit rappy. I'm not that into rap. Is there's something in it for everyone because I really wanna buy tickets but i don't want to waist money.

  1. It is rap-ish, but its so music-oriented, I think its enjoyable to many. I am not a personal rap fan myself, and yet I still get into it.

It is also dance-oriented, with AMAZING choreography. That alone could also be a key reason to go.

Along with the "rap"-esque quality, its also got an obvious Latino influence, and at times almost Hip-Hop-esque moments as well.

    IT'S WORTH SEEING. Period.

  2. Not if you're over 26.  It's a thin, cotton candy plot, a lot of yelling rap and American Idol-esque pop shrieking.

  3. The music is different. And it's different then the other not classical broadway music too. It's a bit of rap, salsa, all that good stuff smooshed together. The entire show was phenomenal.
