The anime ended at 167 and there are no plans of making any new episodes, but there is a new OVA that was just released in Japan and hopefully it helps with ending the Inuyasha series.  We'll just have to wait and see what it is when is comes out here.

There also a manga that is completed that has a good ending.

no, there has not been and as of now there are no plans to make 1. there was a 30 minute short called "Black Tessaiga" thats was shown at the “Rumic World” exhibit but that has not and might not be released.......the manga ended in japan not to long ago if u would like to read in english this site worked well for me www.onemanga.com
