In the LAX airport, how much weight are you allowed to take on your carry bag(the one you keep with you)?

  1. the weight doesnt matter, they may say on the rules and regulations on how much it should weigh but they never weigh carry on items..

  2. If you are traveling internationally some airlines (particularly non-US carriers) will weigh cabin baggage.  For domestic travel I've never seen weight limits on cabin baggage enforced.

  3. There is no weight limit for your carry on, just size limit.  Each airline has its own size limits, but it's generally 45 linear inches.

  4. The airport doesn't matter. Luggage limits and charges for excess luggage are set by each individual airline.
