  1. The last post was right the government ID is the property but you are too just so you know. You can be charged with destruction of government property if you injure yourself in an idiotic way however this is very rare.

  2.   you  are  their  property  ,you  are  even  NUMBERED.and  can  tell  you  what  to  do  and  can't  do  jack  about  it.

  3. I believe that has always been pretty much a given... The soldiers are the government property and the spouses have been government issued. It voluntary no one made them sign up. Next...

  4. It is the military ID that is government property. Read it again.

  5. That is referring to the actual ID card.

  6. Where do you get that?

I've been in 15 years and have never seen anything that says that I am government property.

If you are trying to refer to the I.D. Card, it says "Property of the U.S. Government" on the back - it is referring to the card not the person.

That is correct. The little 1.5 x 3 inch piece of plastic is property of the government.

  7. It's true, GI stands for "Government Issue", you are now an extension of the government.

  8. they pay for your food, uniform, training, weapons and you are required to make a commitment for a certain number of years. when the military tells you to go somewhere, you do as your told.

i think this means that you are military property.
