No points are given out during qualifying, however the rider with the fastest cumulative qualifying lap times from all the qualifying sessions wins a BMW car. (for the first time this year they are able to drop their worst couple of results).

No points for a fastest lap.

The winner receives 25 points

second place 20points

third place 16 points

and down to 1 point for 15th place,

You don't. Besides, if you qualify first, you should win and get more points anyway.

no it is only for position on the grid in fact that is what i am watching at this moment i taped it earlier in the day on the telly at the present i am watching at this moment ,Batista is leading takahashie,Hector barber......
