Question:

In the My Yahoo! page, how do I find sidebar content?

The My Yahoo interface has two distinct types of content: the primary column and secondary column. The secondary column is that narrow vertical bar which (in my case) contains my Bookmarks, Calendar, Stock Portfolio, and various other things. In years gone by, the interface to add content was basically a drop-down select box at the bottom of each column containing only the content that fit in that column, but now that's long gone, and it seems to me that there is no clear way to differentiate between primary column and secondary column content in the new "Add Content" search engine system. So how do I find content specifically formatted for the secondary column?

  1. Well it depends have you downloaded the Yahoo! Toolbar? Or are you using the AT&T Yahoo! Browser?

Toolbar: Click on the messenger face on your toolbar that will give you the option to add the sidebar.

Browser: On the top of the browser there is a button labeled sidebar, clcik it and the side bar is displayed, in any of the modules there should be tiny arrows (>>) in white clcik on that and you can modify it add content or even refresh it from there.
