Chelsea:
Petr Cech says the midweek departure of assistant coach Ray Wilkins had no bearing on their shock 3-0 home defeat to Sunderland after suffering their first-ever home defeat of the season.
The veteran goalkeeper of the Blues said this is common in football. Manager and even players could leave suddenly which should not be a surprise. He also added that he was customised to such situations and it cannot be used an excuse for the disappointing
defeat in the hands of Sunderland last weekend. Cech added that his team did not perform well and they deserved to lose.
After losing the second match of this season of Barclays Premier League, Chelsea is still topping the table with 28 points.

Everton:
Rising star Seamus Coleman feels he is still fighting for his Everton place despite being poised to win a first international cap this week. Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni is set to reward the 22-year-old, at home on the wing or at full-back,
for his blistering club form with an appearance in Wednesday's friendly against Norway.
Coleman has been one of Everton's standout performers during the opening three months of the season and was again impressive in the 2-1 Barclays Premier League loss to Arsenal.
Coleman said that he was not aware of the fact that is he still established or not. He also admitted he was not given surety of staring place at Everton but he would try his best to cement his name in Everton’s team sheet.

Fulham:
Mark Hughes has reiterated his belief that Mark Schwarzer is ready to commit his long-term future to the club. The veteran goalkeeper of Fulham was again impressive in recent match of Fulham and managed to keep a clean sheet. The Australian keeper, who wanted
to join Arsenal during the summers but deal between Fulham and Gunners failed, is in his last year of contract and Fulham are now looking to offer their number one goalie another new deal.
Mark Hughes said: "The saves he made - that's the quality of the keeper we've got and that's why we're working so hard to keep him here. If we're going to be successful, we need a quality keeper and that's certainly what Mark is. He knows what we provide
and knows the environment very well.”

Manchester City:
Assistant-manager David Platt has revealed Carlos Tevez, who has opted to remain in Manchester rather that head off to Doha for Argentina's high-profile friendly with Brazil, is still troubled by the injury that saw him fly home for treatment earlier this
month.
He said: “Carlos has a dead leg. What happens when he plays is that it loosens off but unfortunately, it comes back again. The last 10 or 15 minutes of any game, when you have expended as much energy as he did in midweek, become very dangerous. The one
thing we didn't want to happen was for Carlos to pull a muscle and be out for three or four weeks.”
