It is actually chapter 47. I just read it, and it's mostly about the two ladies, donya Victorina and donya Consolacion, bickering at one another. The second paragraph seems important enough, because it is where donya Victorina first insulted the 'indiyo', or what they call us Filipinos back then (which is already an insult by itself.)
