In the second season his brother said it is that of a five year old. He told it to McManus when he was giving blood for that "hack". He got beat protecting him at a funeral where he was making it with an ex- girlfriend one of the Italians was currently dating. When the bloke caught them they went after Ryan and his brother jumped to his defense.
