how come one guy from each team has a different coloured t-shirt when playing?

  1. He's called a libero and he can play any position on the floor.


  2. Actually, not just any position..he can only play the 3 back row positions and he can sub in and out for any player when they reach the back row.  He is not allowed to serve for that player though.
