Does anyone (especially people who've read the book) know if it mentions ANYWHERE Madame Giry's first name? Does it ever use it? Or does it always refer to her as Madame Giry, never Madame --- Giry? Thanks:) xxxxx

  1. It never said here first name in the book.

  2. I am quite sure that her first name is never mentioned in the book.

  3. Gosh I haven't read that book in forever! I don't remember ever seeing her first name, and I've read that book so many times that I would definitely remember if it said her first name. So I'm like, 99% sure that her first name isn't said. Love that book btw. =)

  4. It doesn't say her first name in the book.

In Frederick Forsyth's "Phantom of Manhattan" he gives her the first name Marie, I believe.
