I have a dodrio that has the pokerus and I would like to spread it to the other pokemon I have so they can grow faster but I'm not sure how to do that.

  1. there are 2 ways

1: to battle a WILD pokemon with the pokemon with pokerus but don't kill it, then catch it and there is a chance that it will catch pokerus.

    2. put it into your party and eventually it will catch them.

If you put a pokemon with pokerus  into the PC, it will stay with pokerus forever until you take it out for a while

  2. Keep the pokemon without the virus in the party with the infected pokemon. It will spread after time. Battle, train, etc. walk around. Check every 5 - 10 minutes. Good Luck!

  3. I remember I had the same question a while ago.  Every time you complete a battle, there's a chance a pokemon in your team will spread pokerus to other teammates.  Pokerus (PKRS) takes approximately two battles to spread, and will spread to adjacent teammates.

For quick spreading, I recommend placing one pokemon in the 2nd position for you team, and another in 5th.  The 2nd pokemon is adjacent to 1st and 3rd.  The 5th pokemon is adjacent to 4th and 6th.  (Keep in mind 6th is not adjacent to 1st.  If you wanna know what places in your team is which number, go to a pokemon's summary and go down to find the order they're in.)

Another tip for fast spreading is battling in a route with weak pokemon that your 1st party member can defeat, and next to a pokemon center for switching pokemon.  When I was spreading PKRS to my 30 unown, after the first battle, no pokemon would have gained PKRS, yet after the second, my entire team would have PKRS.

Also, make sure you keep at least one (two for safety) pokemon at all times with spreadable PKRS in your PC.  If a pokemon in your team has PKRS, it'll wear off in approximately a day (I think).  The effects of doubling EVs will stay permanently on that pokemon, though it won't be able to spread PKRS to non-PKRS'd teammates.  However, if it's in your PC, it'll keep PKRS forever.  Spreadable PKRS is a purple bar in your pokemon's summary and status, while non spreadable is represented by some yellow gem or yellow smiley on its summary.

    Hope I helped :)
