In the Sims 2, I've lost the person my sim is in love with. ?

Question

I called the matchmaker, and she set me up on a date with this girl. They fell in love on the date, but she isn't in the phone book to call her. I can email her, but can't call her to ask her out. Short of going to all the downtown areas I can't figure out how to find her.

If you have nightlife you may be able to go on an outingwith her even if she doesn't have a phone available. Click transportation and choose outing. See if she pops up on that list. If they are teens you can "cheat" and send them to university (again if you have that EP) and that will even make her playable.

She needs a phone available for you to call her so you might check all your playable sims and also the playable sims that are on any associated neighborhoods (downtown, uni, bluewater district) and find her that way and put a phone on the lot.

You may be able to do an optional way of purchasing a cellphone and hope that she walks by your lot (friends tend to walk by the homelot quite frequently) and then give it to her as a gift. But gift giving is another EP related ability so if you don't have all the EP's it may not help

To summarize:

If a Sim isn't in the phone book then it's usually because they're somewhere on the lot. Sometimes they're invisible, but they're still there. It's a game glitch. You have to download a hack like the Insimenator http://www.insimenator.net/ or a lot debugger like the one from More Awesome Than You:http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/in... to delete them. Then they will appear in the phone book again.

In order to call her she needs to have a phone in her house. So you could find her house and put a phone in it. Otherwise i dont know how to help you. Good luck!
