Also, would they have regular needs like ordinary sims?

  1. No nannies can't move in with you. And by regular needs, they would just probably use your toilet.

  2. No, they can't.

  3. You can have them come over even if you're not at work and they'll do their thing. Problem is all they do is change diapers and get bottles for babies and toddlers. They have no problem eating your food and using the restrooms. They don't clean either. You'd be beter off getting  a butler (from the new apartment life expansion)

Another option if you're looking for a "live in" nanny is to simply create an elder sim with a family aspiration.High in neat, nice and outgoing and then merge them into the family

  4. hold CTRL SHIFT and C at the same time and type in

    Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true

then hold shift and click on the nanny and click make selectable

idk if it will work tho

  5. There are ways to do it that I've read about, but I've also read how it can mess your game up, so I don't like to recommend it.  What I do is I make an elder in Create A Family and then move that elder in until a nanny is no longer needed.  Then you can either choose to continue having the elder live with the family or you can have the elder use the phone, newspaper or computer to "move out" -- which puts them back into the Sim Bin.  Then you can use that same elder with a different family or whatever you want to do with them.  Elders living with the family make better nannies anyway as they actually do everything the parent would do instead of just the things that the nannies do.
