I am curious to know how one would go about getting a gaming license to work in the casinos in Cripple Creek or BlackHawk. Is there schooling involved and if so, where do you go and what is the cost?

I am interested in finding out because I would like to apply for work in the Cash Cage in a casino and have heard that you are required to have a Gaming License.

  1. You can get the information you need (and an application for a Colorado license) here:

    http://www.revenue.state.co.us/Gaming/wr...

From you question, it sounds like you would be looking for a license as a "Support" person, so that's the link you should click on at the site above.

But of course your question is the same one that everyone who applies for a job in the gaming industry has.  So, casinos are prepared to give you those answers.  The easiest thing for you to do might be just to go to Cash Cage (or wherever) and apply for a job.  They should be able to fill you in.

    I hope this helps!!
