In the UK, what is the minimum age to volunteer at a hospital?

I am really determined to become an adult nurse, and just want to get my foot in the door and gain some experience, meeting and helping people. but i'm only 15 and am not sure if there is an age restriction to this sort of thing?

I live in the US, and I know here that you would be able to volunteer at your age.

Why dont you just phone the local hospital and ask them?  They would be more than glad to answer your question and my answer may be different than where you are located.
