  1. Contact the Ministry of Justice.  It might come under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (2000)

    Another useful option is the Citizen's Advice Bureau, which can inform you of what institutions or avenues of approach you should take.

    Don't forget also an Ombudsman if you feel you're being obstructed.


  2. I don't think that you can.  All government agencies have information on you, as do all companies you have ever worked for or bought something from.
