In the UK what is the highest exchange rate the Euro has been at since it was introduced?

I was living in spain when it was introduced it 1st jan 2002 was 1.67 to the £ it has all been downhill since then, I cant remember it going higher.

Depends which currency you're referring to.

if it's GBP, then suffice to say it had its heyday in the early inception of the EUR - since then it has fallen dramatically from 1.6's to a mere 1.2 or thereabouts.
