  1. its summer, your friends are bound 2 b on hols, ask them to bring you some home...its really cheap in the likes of greek islands and cyprus.

  5. Not from the UK so not sure exactly.  But you will be able to find a form of it, but if the real stuff is legal there, I'm still betting it will be hard to find.

    In North America we have a fake Absinthe you can easily find.

    Absinthe is made from wormwood-the bark of a tree. It was popular in France and well known bods like Van Gogh, Dali, etc used to drink it. It became banned when....hold on, you didn't want a history lesson!

    Yes, you can buy it anywhere in the UK and although it won't be true absinthe like they used to have (That made Vincent cut off his ear) it is as close as you will get. A lot of people don't realise that Pernod is absinthe andis widely sold. You can get other brands in supermarkets, off licences etc, but nothing is better than Pernod for taste. (Others are stronger but taste bad.)

  7. No it's not illegal go to your local supermarket it's limited to 55%vol in the uk Asda,Morrison's etc.. all stock it
