  1. Probably carry the same punishment as pulling a turban off a seek and telling them to let their hair down

  2. It depends. In English law there is ‘intent’. If you took the shoes just to be mischievous, then no it would not be a racial crime. If, however it could be shown that you had taken the shoes because they were outside a mosque and had targeted the mosque because the shoes would belong to Muslims, then yes it would be a racist crime.

Though for the life of me, I can’t see why you’d want to do this, racist or not.

In addition, the fact that you have posted the question here suggests and could be used as evidence to prove that your intent was racist. If it was just petty mischievousness, you wouldn’t think about it. You’d just do it. You wouldn’t stop to ask silly questions.

  3. NO, JUST A BLOODY NUISANCE TRYING TO ACT SMART!

  4. I don't know about racial, bcz Muslims are all different nationalities but it would be a bit mean! A bit like stealing someones handbag from Church!

  5. No, just a petty one.

  6. If you are caught sniffing shoes again, you will definitely do time.

  7. I think you would get sectioned for nicking them.
