In the US, do we harm our environment in any way when producing clothes?

For example: Using pesticide to grow cotton for shirt production.

Any one have other info on this topic? Any other process of clothes production that harms the environment?

  1. -Energy used produced anything, like running the machinery to put the logos on shirts or anything

    -Not reusing materials

    -using unnatural materials like polyester or something

    -and people then just throw away old clothes, instead of reusing them or donating them


  2. don't worry about the environment, there are not enough clothes produced in this country (USA)to make a difference-you can thank dollar Bill Clinton for that and other gems of NAFTA to move all clothes production out of this country-cotton growers do use pesticides, why do you think that the use of pesticides automatically causes harm to the environment? are you so indoctrinated by the ultra leftist tree huggers who teach in public schools that you believe that (  it is of course their new religion)??
