  1. Yeah, but there's good reason behind that...the younger they start drinking, the more likely they are to be alcoholic...just look at Europe..http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7093143.st...

Edit: Ah, yes, another thumbs down fairy.  That's ok.  I'm telling the truth.

  2. Yep....sad but true and actually in Iraq on holidays even if you are only 18, they give every one 1 beer, I guess that's there celebration over seas.....

  3. you can volunteer for the military at 18

you can legally vote at 18

you can get married at 18

you cannot drink until you are twenty-one... many states in the eighties lowered the drinking age to eighteen...but so many people were killed in alcohol related accidents, that they went back to twenty-one....

  4. yes, although the two have no relation.

  5. Yes. Because more responsibility and maturity is required for handling alcohol responsibly in the USA as opposed to weapons or educated voting.

  6. yes but remember ''dying'' for your country is stricktly a choice.  There is currently no draft in the USA.  Ever single US military person chose to be there.
