  1. as far as im aware there just called blacks   i think,

  2. well it is Afro-Carribean which i think sounds stupid. me and my friends say 'black'. whether i am with my black friends, or my white and asian friends. if we are talking about someone and want to describe them we say black, white, indian etc

lol, i see we have some wannabe comedians on this question..

roxiey- why don't you make your life a whole lot easier and just say black. people are aware that nobody is literally white or black

  3. THE DEFENDANT?

  4. We feel guilty for using the term black(in Cambridge, u.k), because no-one, in the world has black skin, so we say: Dark brown, Medium Brown or light brown... Deeply tanned, Milk chocolate, Dark chocolate, Caramel, Cafe au lait, etcetc...

These terms are much more descriptive, but, the 'political correctness' here is the truth without offending.

I have a cafe au lait skin tone(coffee with milk).

    Learn the terms.

I'll try to think of some descriptive terms for white skin, but it's more difficult. Uhh, very pale, slight tan, blushed pale...

There is no black and white.

Anyone who gives me thumbs down is an ignorant racist!!!

Hi 'silly f**t'. I am mixed race, i have an equal amount of british, scottish, irish, indian, spanish and jamaican blood running through my veins... What am i? Black or white? We are talking about skin-COLOR aren't we? Not race, so my skin color isn't mixed race- It's not black or white, It's light brown.

When i'm feeling descriptive,(i'm an artist) i describe peoples' skin-tones in the proper way, 'cos i'm not a lazy f**t like you, silly f**t.

If someone called be black i would be offended, because they are completely disregarding every blood-line i have apart from the jamaican.

When i see a person with brown skin, if i care enough to wonder, i wouldn't think of them as 'black' nor would i assume they are african. Some people are so ignorant.

  5. There is no politically correct term for Black folks anywhere, including the U.S.

  6. English Americans.

  7. British, like everyone else.

Although I have heard them called African - American- British on American TV.NOW THAT IS A LAUGH!!

  8. Outside the US all dark skinned people are unsegregated and aren't labelled into separative a group, they are just like everyone else. They aren't called anything except by their name if you personally know them, or mate if you don't know their name.

Even when you describe a dark skinned person to the police you describe them as being dark skinned.

  9. The official government documents generally say Afro-Carribbean and I have seen some documents that break it down into Black British, Black African and Black other, but the Black British people that I know/have spoken to tend to describe themselves as British, Black, Carribbean etc - unless that person is from Africa or has recent African ancestry, such as a parent, then they tend to describe themselves as African.

We tend to be not as hung up on race here as in the states, our definitions are along cultural and ethnic guidelines.

    Hope that helps.
