  1. Linen as in the a) fabric or as in b) bed linen?

    a) I have some that can be machine washed at 40 degrees, some that have to be hand washed and others that have to go to the cleaners.

    b) bed linen, table linen etc is very durable and can be machine washed at high temperatires, not that it's recommended nowadays as with modern washing powders 30 degrees is usually sufficient.

  2. I usually wash mine in public. Or better still sell it on the internet lol

  3. As linen is a form of cotton i do mine on a hot wash with normal soap-powder and softener, if i find a stain on it i will use some stain remover we have here in England called Vanish which works very well, i hope that answers you question.

  4. Usually best to read the label, but I would say most linen can be washed at 30 to 40 degrees in a washing machine and short spin.  If in doubt I always hand wash
