  1. What gender issues?  I made more money than my dad & husband for years, now they make more than me.... it's life and it goes in cycles.


  2. Does it matter? Both issues are important and both need to be resolved as soon as possible. You might pay more attention to one than the other, but that doesn't make either one inherently more significant.

  4. Unfortunately, in the West, we really do not see the issues revolving around gender applying to men. When we refer to sexism, it mostly is interpretated as being against women not men. This does not mean that sexism does not exist against men, but our society makes it so that it is only viewed as only being aimed in one direction. So, in response to your question, yes. In the West, the gender issues facing women are more important (or rather are interpreted as being more important) than those facing men.

  5. Seeing how many special laws, programs and acts out there that address only women.  Yes, unfortunately.
