In the Yu-gi-oh card game is it better to have a lower amount of cards or higher?

40 card deck is what you should have you get a higher chance of drawing what you want

Its better to have a lower amount of cards because then you will have a better chance of drawing the card you want or need.  The minimum number of cards you need to make a deck is 40 cards.  I would suggest 40 cards, but that's kinda hard, so anywhere between 40 and 55, which is pushing it, no more than 60, which is really a bit high.

It depends on your style of playing. If you have many high attack, high leveled monsters, then you need to add enough sacrifices to your deck or they will be useless. If you're a magic/trap heavy user, then you need to add all the main magic/trap cards as well as monster cards to help execute them.
