In the anime/manga Bleach, what are 'Fraccións'?

Arrancars from Bleach have 'Fraccións' but I haven't been able to figure out what they are.

Fraccions are the minions of the Espada........they are numbered from 11 to 99 (since 1-10 are Espada and 100-103 are Privaron Espada) they are lesser Hollows that Espada choose as their underlings.......like the lieutenants/squads of the Shinigami

Maybe Luitenants. Arrancars are like the captains and the Fraccions are like thier luitenants.

It's kind of like specific "squads" they belong to so all the arrancar are subjects to one of the espada ranks which is exactly similar to the shinigami who are subjected to their squad captins
