but to the husband AND wife it provides....

Family court's are biased towards wives to an extreme extent.

    If she lies like alot of wives do and seek a DV restraining order the state provides her with a free attorney and she gets instant custody of the kids and home.

    The securities marriage provides towards women is so biased and sexist that it makes marriage undesirable and paramount to slavery for men.

She knows that she is legaly holding a stronger hand than her husband.

with marriage I have my ride or die right here every day. He's my best friend, my umbrella. and his unconditional love can't even be measured. Security is the advantage.

Many humans, capable of human feelings, find another human with whom they want to share their lives, and form new family units. This is usually the reason people marry.

BTW the single biggest advantage is to men: married men live longer than single men, whereas single women live longer than married women, on average.

the woman does not have to worry about getting a job. the way i see it, the fat ladies in society are the ones who get EVERYTHING. the fat ladies get laid, they get great husbands, and they get to live the life of leisure. Fat ladies get EVERYTHING and not a person on this planet can disagree with that.

Increased security that the husband will be there as a provider and protector of her and any resulting children to the family.

The exception of course is if a woman marries a man who wasn't a good provider/protector in the first place, then he probably won't be afterwards.
