In the battle of good evil, who will prevail and why? Who's side are you on?

I don't believe in good vs. evil, i think it is more or less right vs. wrong.

I'm on the good side of the force, and I believe Good prevail. It always does. Look at history...Hitler, Stalin, Rome, Egyptions when they enslaved the Israelites. These were all evil things, but good eventually won out.

Evil may temperarily prevail for years, but Good always wins in the end. Always!

I read this book, it's called The Bible.  I also read the end, Good prevails over evil, but not without trials and tribulations for about 7 years.  I'm on the side of Good.

Neither will win because neither CAN win. Good and evil are only good or evil in relation to each other. They are extremes. If you take one away then the other becomes irrelevant. So if one every did manage to destroy the other then it would also ultimately destroy itself.

As long as you are mentally and emotionally committed to the battle, you have missed the point.  Source (God) created both sides of that duality.  Could there be a reason that the negative vs positive situation exists?  Go ahead and choose your sides, fight your battles, but realize there is a higher connection that ALL combantants will surrender to.  While those who realize the purpose for the conflict will simply smile with inner peace.

It's hopelessly simplistic to imagine that there is a "good side" fighting an "evil side" like two football teams. It's also very simplistic and childish to imagine that there is a satan causing people to be evil. People are fully capable of every evil that can be imagined, without any supernatural help.

There is a mix of good and evil in every person. Your duty as a human being is to overcome the evil in yourself, ie. the tendency to be selfish and uncaring about other people and to dehumanize them and cause them harm.

It seems to me that the old saw might be correct on this one:

Kill them all and let God sort them out.

As for what I REALLY think, I supposed I'm on the side of good, but as long as the side of good is too stupid to get its priorities straight, recognize friend from foe, or even have the courage to do the right thing when the time has come and the need dire, then we may actually be a lost cause.

So given the fool leadership we've had that dragged its heels (assuming, of course, they are actually "on the side of good") when the need outweighed insipid slavish following of procedure, do you really think the side of "good" is winning?  We choose morons for leaders, so we get what we deserve.  Now I feel obliged to get involved and, seriously, I HATE public attention.  I'd rather stay home and read a book.  But if all we get is fools who can't decide if stopping a known impending terrorist attack is more important than piddling over whether to authorize a defense (READ THE BIPARTISAN 9-11 COMMISSION REPORT), then do you really think we DESERVE to win?

So I suppose the more victorious forces in our world are those of Mammon and Sloth because we, as Americans, lack the motivation to even defend ourselves in a timely and effective manner, let alone hold the slug who failed to act in time responsible.  Perhaps if money was presented as a carrot, the lazy slug could have been motivated enough to move.

Otherwise, my fellow Americans, I think you are pathetic and operating FAR below your potential because if you don't have your heads up your @sses about money, you're too busy sitting on your @sses instead.

For example, now that I know innocent children -babies too young to decide these things- are raped, the next two fool answers sit back in snidely condescend that there's nothing that ought be done.  You two don't have children locked in your cellars, do you?

THAT kind of irresponsible behavior is why I say, "hey, maybe they are right!  LET'S FIND OUT RIGHT NOW..."  Then I realize that murderous intent is Baal speaking to me, but the moral outrage and righteous indignation is still there.  Still, I chafe that such slugs should breathe.

Buddhist: Got China?  How about Tibet?  That's where your loser attitude eventually leads you - KICKED OUT by who?  Nice Chinese Communists?  It's a convenient philosophy to give people something to brag about when they have obviously lost.  Now you're here mooching on MY people's successes, you indolent ingrates, along with selfish pissants that call themselves "religious right" and "compassionate conservatives."  What a load of dung.
