why can we not all just be known as the children of adam and eve? I think they are enough I think that's the key to us having peace no matter what we are all the children of adam and eve or the first primates if you want to believe in evolution.

  1. "All" Three religions?  You do realize there are dozens of religions being practiced now, and hundreds or thousands that have been invented by humankind over the course of history.  To assume that the abrahamic religions are the "only" religions and thus that if they all agree on something it must be valid is amazingly ignorant and arrogant.

  2. Well, can I get all the Pagans, Buddhists, Hindus, and all others who are of non-abrahimic faith to join together to help educate the masses that there really are more than just three religions in the world?

  3. Hi! I beleive you are right, and I do agree with your proposal. So, according to the Coran, the religion is one, since Adan period, till to Mohammed (God Bless them)! Islam tells  us that we, all,  are issued from Adan and Eve. No difference between a muslim and a non muslim, except in piety! Islam obliges no one to be muslim, if some one choice is to follow another religion, but islam advertises, that the true religion is one : Islam!

    Thanks!

  4. if the three religion you mean are Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, then the answer is YES.

I asked my Hindu Friend and he said that his religion have the similar story.

why people always make contradiction between religion and evolution. maybe the evolution is true, but in my opinion i think that when God create mankind He gives his word in the way the man could understand it.  so that the man knew that it was God who create universe not the other thing.

i don't think the ancient would understand, if the holy scripture talk about dinosaur, and pithecantrophus.

  5. You do realize, don’t you, that the christian cult guide book is nothing more than fairy tales and boogeyman stories written by men in order to keep the uneducated masses amused, in line, and obeying commands to further the authors’ own socio-economic agenda?

  6. All three? Looks like you seriously need your horizons broadened...

Technically yes, all women have one common ancestor that scientists refer to as Eve and men have one that's referred to as Adam. Sadly they were born 80 million years apart (Eve 150 million years ago and Adam around 70) so I don't think religion's really going to bear that one out

  7. You mean the major 3 religions: Judaism, christianity and Islam. Yes they agree on this one point. Adam and Eve are the parents of the human race. They differ however in who is a true messenger of God. While Islam recognizes all messengers mentioned in the bible, Christians and jew do not believe in Mohammed as a true messenger of God. Now in the information age people of diverse religions are discovering the truth and converting To Islam. This why Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

  8. If you mean that human beings should recognize they are all part of one family and approach their differences with tolerance and love, I'm with you.

But I hope you realize there was no literal Adam and Eve, and that evolution is not an optional belief in the light of modern science.

  9. Well, Cain and Able were both children of Adam and Eve  and look at what happened there.

  10. There are many more religions in the world than just three.  Most religions believe in some super natural all knowing power.  The better question is, why isn't it enough for people to have faith?  Why do they have to fight over what they call their god or who's god is better.  At the core, every religion is about improving the quality of one's life and the lives of those around them.  The rest is just semantics.

  11. There are FAR more than three religions you know...

  12. We  are not worshiping Adam and Eve. We worship the creator and Him only.

  13. Hello Gertrude! There are millions (Well maybe not millions) of religions, both past and present.

I don't BELIEVE in evolution. I accept the scientific theory of evolution. What makes you think I have to believe in Genesis?

Since I'm an American and I know my rights of the first Amendment, I am a Deist. I believe the consciousness of the entire universe is God.

  14. Yes, the three Western religions (aka Abrahamic or Monotheisitic religions) believe that--symbolically if not literally.  And I totally agree, we need to focus on what unites us, now more than ever before.  I think this is so important and CRUCIAL to world peace. The way we have treated and continue to treat one another is horrific and absolutely unworthy of us as children of Abraham.

And a brief word to all you other posters who seem not to realize which religions are being referred to here: the three religions this guy is talking about is clearly Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.  There is no other option, as these are the ONLY religions which have the creation story of Adam and Eve in the Garden.  All other religions have their own stories, so this question doesn't apply to them.  Do you really think this guy thinks there are only 3 religions??  come on people.

  17. SATAN IS THE AUTHOR OF DIVISION
