    it just doesnt stop working when he stops taking it

    and then when he turns into hyde, he takes it, because it isnt really him


  2. It's like crack. He becomes addicted to its power.

  3. he likes being able to do the "evil" things without having it ruin Dr.Jekyll's  actual reputation. since he is able to get away with all those things without getting caught he becomes more and more addicted to taking it.
