Does it ever specify what Woodward and Bernstein looked like?

  1. Woodward was described as a tall, blond ex-Navy officer. Bernstein was described more by his personality than his looks. He was very frenetic and quite a busy-body in the beginning of the book. What they did do is publish photos of the two on the dust jacket. The copies published after the movie had photos of Redford and Hoffman in the roles on the cover and stills from the movie in the center of the book.
