In the boxing book the contender?

They tell him to stick in his fights. A lot. What does that mean in boxing terms? Is it just telling him to stick the jab or whatever punch or does it have another meaning?

  1. When you are told to "stick" in boxing, it simply means use your jab as you already stated.  "stick the jab" just means throw your jab, and "stick and move" just means jab and move out of the way, or don't stay on the inside for too long.
