  1. the USA sees the land as being georgia, and not russia, but we better not even start talking about going there we cant afford it!

  2. In any event, with us already involved in Iraq and Afghanistan we need to stay out of it. One of these days we're going to stick our noses too far into someone else's business and end up getting it blown off.

If you take a good look at our history we have a habit (politicians do) of biting off more than they can chew when it comes to war. The politicians never suffer, it's the soldiers sent, their families, and innocent civilians involved. I sure as h**l don't want my kids fighting the problems of trouble making or nosy leaders.

  3. WE SUPPORT GEORGIA IN EVERY WAY. WE WANT TO STICK IT TO THE RUSSIANS, MAYBE PAYBACK FOR THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS(1960s).  WE ARE PUSHING FOR THEM TO JOIN NATO. WE MUST ALSO PROTECT OUR TROOPS FROM THE INVADERS. GOSH, I HAVEN'T HEARD THAT ARGUMENT IN A LONG TIME. I BELIEVE THE FIRST TIME THAT I HEARD ANYTHING LIKE THIS WAS WHEN I WAS A CHILD AND IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SUDETENLAND AND GERMANY. YOU KNOW, THE HITLER THING.

  4. Georgia is in the wrong, even though Russia is being demonized. However, Georgia has 3,000 troops in Iraq (or had), the US and Georgia are allies, but Russia is a big dog. The US will not easily interfere unless it is suicidal. Clearly, Georgia is.
