  1. I think that Self Censoring comes from years of observations of other people's reaction to what you have said or done, if you have cared enough to notice it.  If you have had a major dramatic event in your life, you may relive it in your mind repeatedly.........possible because you didn't react the way that you wanted to or perhaps to you were afraid of other peoples' reactions to your real feelings.  In this effect, we are constantly editing ourselves to soften our tone, to not hurt others and remain, socially acceptable persons in a dramatic environment.  That's my take here, I hope I've helped you to answer your question.  Have a wonderful Sunday evening!

  2. I think you are referring to the  concept of  a non random sample and making your self  the "Guinna Pig" out  something  like  that. Or i think  whet you are  now speaking of is a  self  inclusive  idea where your  opinion or  survey can be  just  as  good m as  anyone  Else's  within the  sample? to answer the latter  because I think that is  what you're  asking  about  I think you are definitely  correct  why not  have  your own say  when IT  comes  to research. I  don't think I have  ever  ran into this so  that is  my  answer and  hope it is  sufficient. Another good  question i am coming here  next time
