In the curcuit shown, which bulb, when burned out, will cause all the ther bulbs to stop glowing?pic included?

  1. Blowout of bulb A will result in stopping all other bulbs to grow.

    Now here is how i say this:

    When a instrument (anything like bulb, fan etc) is connected in series, it brakes the whole circuit, as in series combination the current flows through all instruments.

    However when the instuments are connected in parallel, it does not effect another, as current gets alternative path to travel.

    I hope this answers your question.


  2. It's not that hard.  Just imagine instead of electricity, it's a circular river flowing with water.  Which place would you need to put a dam in order for the river not to be able to flow past the battery anymore?
