Do you know any of the classic drinks that were concocted during that period? Also, what is an "American Styled" bar?

  1. What most of the people don't know is that GIN found popularity and actual birth during probabtion. This was because the only bars/pubs which were open were controlled by the Mafia, called 'Speak Easy(s)'; and the alcohol was made in bathing tubs using juniper berries... Gin.

  2. rum

  3. p**p

  4. During prohibition many bartenders did not leave the US to keep serving alcohol. many became tenders for the mob and participated in underground night clubs run by the mob and mixed drinks there. If they did not bartend they became soda jerks at soda fountains. There they mixed drinks like coco-cola ginger ale and at some point in time even started serving ice cream floats and sundeas all which came from prohibition after the soda was enjoyed by Americans far and wide because they could not drink their alcohol.

  5. Bar tending  actually [was] very popular in the GD many stayed  because of the USO and other  things similar
