In Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) measurement Unit is sq. ft. This is based on 2 houses we have sold recently as I'm from Kolkata. # more are still there so whenever we give adv or the brokers asks they ask in Sq. ft. yes some are there who asks in "Kattah" as well.
