  1. Since r1, r2, r3 are roots the equation of elliptic curve is

    (x-r1)(x-r2)(x-r3)=0

    just multiply it and compare coefficents with

    x^3 +ax^2+bx+c

    that shows r1+r2+r3 = -a and r1r2r3= -c
