I like dishwashers!

My female friends tell me that is very helpful

but my male friends (including my boyfriend)

keep telling me that is unuseful

because you have to do half of the work.

Who is right?

  1. Tell you boyfriend to was the dishes then!  LOL

    I love my dishwasher!

    ker

  2. You can't put your hands in water as hot as a dishwasher gets and that hot water kills germs, very helpful in cold and flu season. I live alone and use mine. I usually run it about twice a week, saves me a lot of water and my kitchen always looks clean and tidy. I do wish though that someone else could be here to empty it

  3. if your busy all the time than yes dishwashers are useful but if you aint busy than you aught to wash 'em by hand and make use of your time.

  4. dishwashers will only become useful once they put the dishes away themselves

  5. both are right, if you want your dishes to really be clean you have to rinse them quite well before they go in, personally, i like having the dishwasher to store my "unclean" dishes until i am ready to run it. i remove them before the dry cycle starts... you can take them out when they are hot, and dry them with a flour sack towel, they look beautiful... they don't get etched then. i do this with my fine crystal and silver too... ;-)

  6. Dishwashers use less water and energy than washing dishes by hand.  Additionally, the pot scrubber feature on most dishwashers will remove almost all baked on food residue.

Dishwashers can sanitize the dishes in water that no human hand could stand.

Running the dishwasher with a full load only, saves water, energy and time.

Tell your boyfriend he doesn't know what he is talking about.

PS:  The term is "not useful".  "Unuseful" is not a word. ;-)
