In the fall, when do trees peak in color?

my boyfriend is in the army and is deploying next year. he really wants to get professional photos of the two of us before he leaves. my favorite time of the year is fall and i love it when the leaves are colorful and i thought that time of the year would make some really nice photos. so, when do leaves peak in color in the fall? i live in wisconsin, if that helps........

it depends on the region and temperatures that are going on each year, but as said above me, it's usually shortly after the first frost.

Here in Kansas City, the leaves peak beautifully around Late September - Early October.
