In the film twilight, why are Jasper and Rosalie Hale's instead of Cullen's??

Because at their high school they pretend that they are twins that were adopted by Carlisle and Esme Cullen and Edward, Alice and Emmet pretend that they are siblings that were adopted by Carlisle. But actually none of them are related.

It would kinda be weird if all of them were related wouldn't it? I mean all of them are around the same age

They just made it so like they seem like real brother and sister but like adopted

if you read the books you'd find out, you see they tell everyone that the Cullen's adopted them and i think it was that emmet, alice and Edward were all esme's nieces and nephews and the rosalie and jasper were just sort of randomly adopted or it might have been the other way around, it's something along those lines.
