In the flobots cover, you see people where flags as bandannas. Is this legal if so would people yell at you.?

I was thinking of wearing it. Is it frowned upon is what I am asking. or is there flag bandannas that i can buy?

Actually you can use the flag however you want. It is protected free speech according to the Supreme Court. There will be some who will fault you for it to be sure, but this must be expected any time you make a political statement. Now you may not consider it political. You might just see it as a fashion statement, but all others will not view it the same. Each of us must make decisions about what is right and proper based on our own views. For myself I follow the flag code, but I would never attack anyone verbally or otherwise who didn't.
